Peter Pumps Iron with Obama
Although Peter declined the running mate offer due to his 2-year commitment to serve a mission, he did take the opportunity to workout with his bud - Barack.
Bishop Madsen challenged our ward to read 3 pages a day and along with the promises of peace and happiness in our hearts, he said that we would also be blessed with happy families, courage and strength. He told us that reading this book will mend a broken heart, lead us to prayer and that our prayers would reach higher.
I want my family to have those blessings and am sharing this challenge with you. Reading 3 pages a day, starting on July 1 - you should finish by the end of the year. If I could read for you, I would - but you and I know that it doesn't work that way.
D&C 130: 20-21 20 There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated— 21 And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.
I love my family, I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I love the Book of Mormon. I feel so blessed already! XOXO, jNae
